Netflix’s fastest commissioned sequel in the streamer’s history has finally been released to rave reactions from fans.
Loosely based on the true story of a working-class hero, a beloved British film was originally released in 2023 and the streaming platform wasted no time continuing the story.
Starring Rory Kinnear, the Bank of Dave revealed the extraordinary experience of Burnley businessman David Fishwick, a self-made millionaire who used his earnings to help his community through the 2007-2008 financial crisis.
Viewers loved the heartwarming and inspiring tale, and now Kinnear is back in the eagerly awaited sequel, Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger.
The equally inspiring follow-up fictionalises Fishwick’s mission to take on predatory payday money-lenders, many of which have since gone out of business thanks in part to his efforts.
