The snow is represented by purple shading, meaning the darker the gradient the heavier the snow fall. London is predicted to see around 3cm of snowfall per hour.

It comes as the UK’s national forecaster – The Met Office – has a 45 hour-long weather warning for snow. Beginning on Saturday and running until Monday, the capital and much of the UK as temperatures in the capital expected to plummet to -2°C overnight as rain clears southward.
