A new restaurant promising ‘a taste of holiday bliss’ is set to open in Mere Green. Mediterranean-inspired venue Willow will open at Mulberry Walk on Mere Green Road in February.
Willow will serve its signature salads, chargrilled kabab skewers and brunch dishes as well as Sunday lunch with ‘all the trimmings’. It’ll be the third branch of Willow to open, following launches in Telford and Trentham in Staffordshire.
The Willow brand is part of the Parogon Group of restaurants which also includes The Swan With Two Necks in Blackbrook, Staffordshire, the Orange Tree bar and grill in Stoke-on-Trent and the Wayfarer country pub in Stone. The Mere Green spot will mark the group’s first step into Birmingham’s hospitality scene.

Diners are being offered half price food during the restaurant’s soft launch if they sign up to attend via the Willow website. An exact open date is yet to be announced.
Parogon Group says that the new Willow restaurant will bring ‘a vibrant, dining experience to Mere Green, serving an eclectic menu of Mediterranean-infused flavours in stunning holiday-inspired surroundings’. It’ll be open for all day service in a family-friendly setting featuring ‘eclectic artwork and botanical accents, bringing a taste of holiday bliss’.
The restaurant will have an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining and cocktails in the sunshine. Live music nights will provide the soundtrack.
