24 million Premium Bonds customers have been warned by National Savings and Investments to check their accounts TODAY. The first Premium Bonds jackpot winners of 2025 are from Liverpool and Gloucestershire, NS&I has confirmed.
ERNIE has drawn more than 5.8 million prizes this month, worth over £429 million. The Gloucestershire winner’s Bond was the first time it had been eligible for the prize draw. The first Bond number drawn was 492XB861312 and is held by a winner based in Liverpool. The winner has a holding of £37,025 in Premium Bonds and purchased their winning Bond in March 2022. They become the third jackpot winner from Liverpool.
The second Bond number to win £1 million this month was 601RW421962 and the Bond holder lives in Gloucestershire. The winner holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds and obtained their winning Bond in November 2024. They are the ninth Premium Bonds jackpot millionaire from Gloucestershire.

Premium Bonds holder’s can check if they’ve won a prize in the January draw from Friday 3 January, by visiting the NS&I website, using the prize checker app, or asking Alexa.
