Puzzle enthusiasts are being tested by an optical illusion claiming the need for “eyes of a sniper” to solve it.
The baffling image, recently posted on Reddit, is causing quite a stir. It appears to be an innocent snapshot of someone’s garden – sunlit fence, trees in the back, nothing out of the ordinary. But there’s actually an iguana expertly camouflaged within the frame.
Since it hit Reddit, numerous people have joined the discussion, sharing whether or not they successfully spotted the reptile. Some have admitted to finding the visual challenge a touch perplexing.
One individual remarked: “I found him in nearly the first place I looked, but I missed him the first time. Lol.” A second recounted a slightly startling encounter: “I had zoomed in really close and jumped when I got to him.”
Someone else shared their frustration: “God, that took me forever and I used to have one for a pet. My roommate let him escape outside. I found him 40ft up a tree.” Meanwhile, another said: “Wow, I totally overlooked but I found him.”
For those still squinting at the photo, here comes the spoiler – the stealthy iguana can be spied clinging to the fourth panel of the fence once you zoom in.
Adjacent to it, you can spot his tiny head peeking over the fence. If you didn’t manage to find it, don’t fret – it’s an incredibly minute detail in the picture.
