West Yorkshire Police has ordered the arrest of a former police officer in Devon following allegations of stalking.
The former Devon and Cornwall Police officer and a woman were arrested after instructions from the force, who are leading the inquiry into the allegations.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police told PlymouthLive: “A male and female were arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police on behalf of West Yorkshire Police in connection with an allegation of stalking and harassment reported to have taken place between August 25 and September 7, 2024. Both have since been released pending further enquiries.”
It is understood the 55-year-old man and 38-year-old woman, from the Newquay area, were arrested for stalking and harassment on December 27 last year. Both have now been released on bail.
