Primark has left shoppers seriously impressed with its latest sportswear collection, which has been lauded for its ‘buttery soft’ feel and likened to high-end brand Lululemon. Holly Barlow, a fashion and beauty content creator on TikTok, showcased the items during a recent shopping spree.
In her video, Holly stated: “Girls, if your New Year’s resolution is working out, you need to get yourself down to Primark. It’s got all the new gym stuff in. They’ve got bags, water bottles, headphones, all the new gym stuff, really good quality, towels, really nice bags.”
As shown in Holly’s video, the selection includes duffle bags, backpacks and activewear in various trendy colours. The fashion blogger also spotlighted colourful tracksuit bottoms, reports the Mirror.
“They’ve got Lululemon [alternatives]. I’ve felt those tracksuits, they feel so buttery soft. They feel amazing,” Holly shared. “All the pinks, all the blues, all sorts. All new sports bras. Brand new hats.” Other items visible in the video included jumpers, scrunchies and trainers.
Reacting to the video, a fan wrote: “Might have to go have a look some lovely stuff.” A second penned: “I love when they bring out new gym stuff.” Another person commented: “Oh my god,” and a fan responded: “Love Primark.”
Primark shoppers will need to make a trip in-store to experience the latest activewear collection hands-on, but before doing so, they can browse the offerings online on Primark’s website. There’s also an option for click and collect.
The retailer’s activewear range boasts items such as the Butter Performance Jacket, offered in two shades for £16, and the Buttery Soft Gym T-shirt available in six shades for £9. You’ll also find Flared Yoga Leggings priced at £12, and Co-ord Toggle Waist Joggers in two colour choices for £12 each.
On Primark’s Instagram, fans can catch a glimpse of some of the stylish sets in action thanks to Primark’s Unstoppable campaign, which celebrates the mental and physical health benefits of keeping active.
Presenting the new lineup, Primark stated: “Introducing Unstoppable You: our new performance range that’s shaking up the game with unbeatable quality, comfort, and style. From technical sports bras to sweat-wicking tops, this collection is designed to help you move, perform, and look your best.”
