A popular ice skating rink has shared “exciting news” in the wake of high demand over the Christmas holidays.
To the delight of festive skaters, the rink at Victoria Park, Southport, is extending its residency by adding extra days. With increasing popularity and the current continuation of the school summer holidays, the organisers have decided to prolong the time available for families to enjoy the ice.
The rink will now remain open to the public until Sunday, January 5. The Ice Skating Southport management team said: “Exciting news! We’re extending our opening hours! Join us for an incredible experience from 11am to 7pm from January 2-5.
“Come and enjoy our sessions for only £9 each on these dates. This is a limited time opportunity, and we anticipate high demand.
“Don’t miss out, book your spot online ASAP via our Ice Skating Southport website to avoid disappointment.”
Ice Skating Southport has been brought to town for the third year in a row by North West Marquee Hire with more than 12,000 people visiting last year. The ice skating rink is located inside a large marquee and adjacent to food and drink traders including an on-site bar, the ECHO reports.
The rink is closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. You can purchase tickets here.
