Spencer Matthews’ blunt response to Vogue Williams as she calls out fan’s accusation

Vogue Williams was recently labelled as “petty” by her husband Spencer Matthews following a social media spat with a fan. The 39-year-old found herself in an awkward encounter with a woman, who had been following her on Instagram.

The person in question told Vogue that she, and her two-year-old son Otto, were not allowed to use a swimming pool in an apartment complex. Speaking on her podcast with co-host Joanne McNally, Spencer’s wife clarified that she had every right to use the pool as it was part of her friend’s apartment, where guests are welcome.

However, the woman in question was left irate, arguing that Vogue didn’t contribute to the service charges paid by the residents. Recalling their conversation, Vogue fumed: “I asked, ‘Do you have a problem with my two-year-old swimming in the pool?’

“She replied, ‘Yes, I do have a problem, because we pay for the service charges of that building and you don’t pay a penny, you just think you’re allowed to waltz in, uninvited, to come and use our swimming pool when you don’t pay a penny.

“‘Imagine [if] I just walked into your apartment and used your lift that you’re paying for?'”

Vogue then explained to the woman that she hadn’t just randomly decided to use the pool, but was entitled to do so. However, after responding to her, she noticed that the woman had unfollowed her on Instagram.

To add to the drama, the presenter later found out that the woman didn’t actually live in the apartment complex after all. She fumed: “So she’s not paying the service charge and I nearly wrote back and then Spencer was like, ‘You’re being petty’ and I was like, ‘Fine, I won’t write back’ but I will be pursuing this as a pod topic!”.

The host continued her rant on their My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, adding: “No one was even at the pool. Do you think I’d give a s**t if someone was using it? It was really bizarre, but I just thought it was the funniest [thing], because she thought I was just sneaking into other people’s buildings to use their facilities, uninvited.

“And also, what got me was like why do you care? I just wouldn’t care.” Otto, born in 2022, is Vogue and Spencer’s youngest child.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, also have Theodore, five, and Gigi, three. When asked previously if she and Spencer planned to expand their family, she said while her husband was eager, she was uncertain.

“I’ll probably be still thinking about it when I’m 50,” she told The Sun. “I don’t want to have a child when I’m 40, because I feel like I’m going to start getting tired.

“That’s when I want to be going into my granny era and chilling out!”.
