St Paul’s Cathedral is to be illuminated in a dazzling lights show next month by the same team who brought the ‘poppy fields’ display to the Tower of London. ‘Luminous’ is an exhibit from projectionists Luxmuralis, which will transform the inside of Christopher Wren’s dome with a myriad of effervescent lights and sounds.
Luminous runs at St Paul’s Cathedral between 6.30pm and 10.30pm from Saturday, February 22, to Sunday, February 28. Tickets are £17.50 for adults, and £10 for children aged six to 17, while children aged five and under go free. Visitors can spend around 45 minutes wandering through the interior of the building to enjoy the show in all its glory.
St Paul’s states: “Transforming the interior of this iconic London landmark, Luminous offers a breathtaking fusion of art, sound, and architecture. Taking inspiration from the Cathedral’s rich history, collections and archive, this immersive event will delight and captivate audiences of all ages.
