Stacey Solomon’s ‘game-changing’ trouser storage solution to maximise wardrobe space

Now that we’re well into the New Year, it’s probably time for a January reset or clear out if you haven’t already. And who better to guide us than the queen of space-saving hacks herself, Stacey Solomon?

She’s just revealed her ingenious method for storing all her trousers to maximise wardrobe space. As part of her January reset series on Instagram, Stacey shared a variety of smart ways to organise items in your home, including the use of tiered trouser hangers.

While she didn’t specify the exact ones she uses, similar products are widely available from most stores, including Amazon. A 3-pack of Space Saving S-Type Trousers Hangers can be purchased for £10.99 here. If you need more, a 10-pack is available for £28.99 here.

Each hanger can accommodate up to five pairs, so that’s enough to fit 50 pairs of jeans, trousers, or skirts. We’ve also found some similar hangers that you can click and collect from Argos here, reports the Mirror.

Although this may seem like a simple hack, Stacey labelled it a ‘game-changer’, claiming it freed up half of her wardrobe space. If you or your family members have a lot of trousers, whether for work or school, these s-shaped hangers could be a home organisation essential.

If you’re keen on further organising your wardrobe, Stacey suggests categorising your trousers on hangers based on their use. She has a hanger for formal trousers and another for casual ones. You could even break it down further into work trousers, school trousers, jeans, and skirts. This isn’t the first time we’ve been impressed by Stacey’s hacks.

In her January reset series, she also revealed a brilliant trick to stop knickers and socks from getting tangled up, involving a plastic shopping bag holder. If you’re planning a winter sun holiday, you might want to adopt some of Stacey’s smart packing hacks.

Using over-the-door shoe storage organisers (like this one from Amazon, currently reduced to £10.99), Stacey plans out her children’s outfits and uses each compartment for each day’s outfit. The best part?

There’s no need to unpack at your destination. Simply unroll it and hang it over a door or on a coat hook. We can’t wait to see what clever storage solution Stacey shares with us next.
