Strictly Come Dancing winner Chris McCausland has joked that he is speaking to lawyers after his professional partner, Dianne Buswell, shared a video on social media. It comes after the pair lifted the Glitterball Trophy during the last series of the BBC show.
More recently, Dianne filmed a vlog with her dad, Mark, which was reminiscent of the material she created alongside blind comic Chris. It came as she bid an emotional farewell to her parents, who had set off back to her homeland of Australia last week.
Reflecting on her family’s visit, Dianne said: “What a 7 weeks it has been honestly moments that I had only dreamed of came to life and the best bit was that my parents were right there with me.
“Already looking forward to the next time we can make memories together. Love you both very much.” The latest update from the Aussie dancer showcases a chucklesome game session with her dad, with husband Joe Sugg making a cameo. Dianne teased the action with a caption stating: “The Christmas special of guess the flavour!
“Don’t worry, production manager @ChrisMcCauslandcomedy has given the all-clear to go ahead with the episode without him! Our special guest is the one and only MARK @mark.3802.”
The game involved them identifying the scent being presented to them, and this time it was a KitKat, though Chris and Dianne have taken on similar challenges with different products before, The Express reports.
Chris quipped: “Wow. I’m speaking to my lawyers. You must’ve really wanted him back on that flight to keep it going that long.”
One fan added in support: “I can’t tell you how much I miss you and Chris doing this. Great to see your dad stepping in to do it. Brilliant.”
Another commented: “Great stand-in/role reversal… and your dad’s an absolute gem… but I missed Chris all the same!”.
A third said: “Now I get why Dianne and Chris got on so well! @chrismccauslandcomedy has the same sense of humour and personality as her family back home in Australia.”
