The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman, who celebrates her 53rd birthday today (Wednesday, January 15), once made a frank admission when discussing former Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice.
Writing in her 2020 autobiography, long before the bullying claims involving actress Amanda Abbington surfaced against Pernice, Claudia penned her thoughts as she answered a key question from fans.
She said: “This might be why you’re here so here goes, let me divulge. If I haven’t covered enough then I’m happy to answer any questions. Tweet me and that’s the deal.”
She teased readers further by mentioning: “You’ve got the book and you want to know what Giovanni looks like without his top on – I get it, just let me know. By the way, if that is the question, then the answer is knockout, plus much more muscular than you’d think.”

Giovanni Pernice has since departed from the BBC dancing series following allegations of ‘abusive’ behaviour towards Abbington. An investigation concluded with six out of 17 complaints being upheld against the 34 year old Italian, although he was cleared of physical abuse.
Meanwhile, Claudia is set to grace television screens again presenting The Traitors, which continues on BBC One tonight at 9pm.
In a recent revelation, Winkleman expressed her adoration for the latest ‘love of her life’ as her family welcomed a new addition. She clearly stating it wasn’t her husband, Kris Thykier. Claudia, together with her film producer spouse, have three children and it appears the family’s latest member has utterly captivated her, reports Lancs Live.

On the Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake podcast, The Traitors host shared with Kathy Burke about her recent addition to the family that she’s completely smitten with. She confessed that she’s so fond of the new family member that she even sings them a “lullaby”.
However, it seems her husband finds it all a bit “much”. Claudia revealed: “So, I’ve recently got a dog, who I am in love with. I mean, I’m gonna bore you till your ears bleed. The two [children] have left home; I didn’t know what to do. I thought I might steal a baby, so instead, I got a dog who I treat like…I mean, I don’t put him in clothes but I didn’t know.
“Anyway, so I love Skip, love of my life. I look for toys for him; I stroke his ears. Sometimes, I’ve been known to sing him a lullaby. My husband was like, ‘This is too much’.”
