The Radford family has had a incredibly busy year, and as it draws to a close, they’ve paused to reminisce about the cherished moments and accomplishments they’ve experienced over the past 12 months.
Capping off 2024 with festive cheer, the Morecambe family enjoyed Christmas together, sharing glimpses of their celebration on social media. Videos showed their living room awash with gifts, while their bumper brood excitedly tore through wrapping paper in unison.
Sue and her husband Noel are parents to Britain’s biggest family with 22 kids, which naturally means a mountain of presents come Christmas Day. However, their recent holiday video upload on YouTube, showcasing their morning festivities, has attracted criticism.
Their video, entitled “Christmas Day – nothing but presents,” captured the moment when they descended to the present-laden scene at 7.07am. While that may seem a reasonable hour for the kids to start unwrapping gifts, Noel, 53, conceded that some eager beavers had made their way to the parental bedroom by 5am.
Sue had previously shared that they had roughly 300 presents for the children, sparing no expense to ensure a memorable Christmas for all. Despite the joyous intent, the video sparked controversy, with the comments section quickly filling with critics questioning the necessity of such an extravagant display of gifting, reports the Mirror.
One person was raging at what they watched, hitting out in the comment section: “Total overkill on the presents but at least it wasn’t Shein tat.” Another added: “It’s sickening the amount of presents this year… ridiculous parenting.”
One person pointed this out, arguing: “Each kid got a perfectly normal sized pile of presents each not loads. Even if they were to get loads and loads so what? You aren’t paying for it? The parents are and they earn their money so can spend it on whatever they like!”

They went on to list some of their achievements and memories from holidays they will cherish forever in Disneyland Paris, on a Disney cruise, to the Netherlands and travelling in their family motorhome.
They also shared other family updates including welcoming their new little grandson Ronnie and celebrating Millie and Harley’s wedding day. Work wise they reflected on the success of their new book and how they enjoyed meeting fans at the book signings.
Fans took to the comment section to share their love for the family, one wrote: “What wonderful memories you are all making”, another commented: “And we all love following your adventures and milestones!” A third wrote: “I have enjoyed following you on your adventures this year. Wow you have packed so much in these last 366 days can’t wait to see what you all get upto in the next 365 days I am sure they will be fun filled as much as last year. Happy New year to you all.”
