The teenager killed in a crash at a Castleford sewage treatment works has been named locally as Taylor Lupton.
West Yorkshire Police say the crash took place at 6.19pm on Sunday, January 12, after the car left Wheldon Road. The white Volkswagen Golf had entered a water treatment facility and was partly submerged in water.
Two people, a man and a woman, both aged 21, were rescued from the vehicle and taken to hospital. A third person was found a few yards from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police later confirmed he was an 18-year-old boy from the Wakefield Area. He has now been named locally as Taylor Lupton.
Following a police investigation, the man and woman who were rescued from the car have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Road closures in place on Wheldon Road were later removed.
An investigation is now underway by the Major Collision Enquiry Team. They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the car travelling along Wheldon Road from the direction of Airedale before the crash to get in contact.
