A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in a busy street in Tottenham this afternoon (Friday, January 17). Police were called at around 1.30pm to the scene on Great Cambridge Road, near White Hart Lane.
Police and London Ambulance Service paramedics found the boy suffering serious stab injuries. Ambulance crews rushed him to the hospital, where he remains. The boy’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police have not made any arrests in connection with the stabbing, though a cordon was set up at the crime scene, photos seen by MyLondon confirm. Investigations are ongoing into the matter, and the police have put out a plea for information.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a reported stabbing which took place on Great Cambridge Road, N17 at approximately 01:30hrs on Friday, 17 January.
“The victim, a 17-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
