An 18-year-old man stabbed to death just days after Christmas has been named as Noah Smedley.
The emergency services rushed to Heanor Road in Ilkeston, Derbyshire at about 8.20pm on December 28.
Noah had been found by the ambulance service collapsed in the road with a stab wound.
He died at the scene just before 9pm.
His family have been made aware and they are being assisted by specially trained officers, Derbyshire Police said.
Now eight people have been arrested in connection with the death after a fifth 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder earlier today.

A murder investigation has been launched following his death.
Two 16-year-old girls and a 52-year-old man have all been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
One of the girls has been released with no further action taken, and the other has been released on bail.
Detective Chief Inspector Claudia Musson from the East Midlands Special Operation Unit, who is leading the investigation said: ‘We are in the very early stages of the investigation and we are treating it as an isolated incident.
‘We are keen for anyone with information to contact us as a matter of urgency to assist with the inquiry into the death of this young man.’
The force has appealed for any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage taken between 7pm and 9pm around Heanor Road, Rose Avenue, Summerfields Way, Kedleston Drive and Peveril Drive.
