The best events to look forward to in 2025 in Croydon from ‘Taylor Swift’ show to whisky festival

With so many events perpetually on, it can be hard to know where to start. For Croydon locals, the variety of things to do is huge; there’s everything from a Mo Gilligan show to an acclaimed Taylor Swift tribute act.

Taylormania – January 24

For all the Swifties who missed out on Eras Tour tickets, Taylor Swift tribute perfomer Katy Ellis is bringing her Taylormania show to Croydon. With a live band and backing dancers, the show is billed as ‘the most authentic recreation of a Taylor Swift show you will ever see’.

The Chicago Blues Brothers: Respect – February 8

For over 27 years, the Chicago Blues Brothers have been electrifying stages around the world. After playing iconic venues such as the Adelphi Theatre and London’s The O2, they’ll be stopping off in Croydon next year.

Ed Byrne: Tragedy Plus Time – February 13

TV personality Ed Byrne is set to bring his highly acclaimed and most personal show to date, Tragedy Plus Time, to Croydon in 2025. He’ll perform at Ashcroft Theatre on Thursday, February 13 – tickets are £37.50, you can book them here.

The Magic of the Bee Gees – March 8

The Magic of the Bee Gees, now in its 9th year, is leaving the West End for Croydon. Taking spectators on a musical journey through all the band’s classics, the production promises to be an unforgettable show.

It’ll run on Saturday, March 8 at Ashcroft Theatre. Tickets are £34.75, you can book them here.

Mo Gilligan: In The Moment World Tour – March 13

Stand-up sensation Mo Gilligan is returning to the stage with his In the Moment world tour. As one of the UK’s biggest comedy stars, his credits include two sell-out national tours and numerous other successful events..

The Croydon Whisky Festival is returning to Stanley Arts for 2025. It allows connoisseurs and newbies alike to sample different tipples, chat with experts, attend masterclasses, and hang out at the food court.

The festival will run from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday, March 5. Tickets start at £27.20, and you can book them here.

LDN Wrestling 2025 – April 6

Josh Widdicombe: Not My Cup of Tea – October 23

Comedian Josh Widdicombe is back on tour, and he’s stopping in Croydon. The co-host of Parenting Hell (alongside Rob Beckett) also appears on The Last Leg and Hold The Front Page.
