The five luckiest animals in the Year of the Snake for the Chinese zodiac 2025

It will be the Year of the Snake from Chinese New Year on Wednesday January 29. Each yeah is said to bring a different amount of luck based on the 12 different animals, ordered by a legend of a great race across a river.

In the race, the Snake finished sixth after compensating for not being a great swimmer by hitching a ride on the Horse. When the Horse crossed the line it jumped out, scaring the Horse and taking sixth place.

People born in the Year of the Snake (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, and 2025) are said to be resourceful, insightful, and graceful problem-solvers, embodying the power of adaptability and growth.
