A new season of The Travelling Auctioneers is on the horizon, and the daytime show is welcoming some fresh faces.
The show’s trusty blue van will be hitting the road once more, as the team helps families uncover the hidden value of their treasured possessions, with the goal of selling them for a tidy profit.
Returning to the show are familiar faces Christina Trevanion, now serving as the narrator, alongside JJ Chambers, Robin Johnson, and Izzie Balmer, reports the Mirror.
This time around, they’ll be joined by four newcomers, so let’s get to know the latest additions to the cast.
James ‘JB’ Broad
James “JB” Broad, a 29 year old auctioneer, has been passionate about antiques since he was 12. As the manager of Whittaker and Biggs in Cheshire, he typically sells over 1,400 lots per auction.
Having previously appeared on Antiques Roadshow and The Bidding Room, he found it an “easy decision” to join The Travelling Auctioneers.
He said: “The chance to travel and meet incredible people while uncovering the stories behind their cherished possessions is something truly magical. I’m particularly looking forward to the excitement of the auctions themselves there’s nothing quite like the anticipation of finding out which items resonate most with buyers.”

Lauren Wood
Lauren Wood, a skilled woodworker, took the top spot in the second series of Channel 4’s Handmade: Britain’s Best Woodworker in 2022, thanks to her wife’s encouragement to apply. Growing up, she was always fascinated by her father’s DIY projects, which led her to pursue a degree in cabinet-making and later teach woodwork at a secondary school for a decade.
Lauren expressed: “For me, being hands on and restoring things is a life skill that not only brings joy to myself and others but also means we as a nation can reuse products and save them from landfill, so I’m thrilled to be putting my passion into practice alongside this top team! “.
Briony ‘Bee’ Harford
Bee has earned the title of a “rising star in the auctioneering world ” with over 12 years of experience, progressing from a general valuer to head auctioneer. She was even sought after by fine art auctioneers Bonhams to lead its operations in Yorkshire and the North East.
Moreover, she made history by becoming the first woman in four decades to take the rostrum at the Staffordshire Motorcycle Show in 2021.
“I love my job for many reasons, but the main one is helping people make a difference to their lives,” Bee shared. “I get no greater joy than unearthing treasures in people’s homes that they had no idea were worth anything, then selling them on the rostrum! “.
