Police in Wales are looking for a number of people who are wanted in relation to a series of alleged crimes. Officers are asking for members of the public to come forward if they have any information about the whereabouts of the people listed below.
This is not a comprehensive list of every wanted person in Wales. South Wales Police shares its active appeals on its force Facebook page but not all are featured as officers make every effort to trace suspects prior to them being published as wanted.
North Wales Police does not remove all its appeals once they are no longer active meaning some older ones still appear online. The force was not able to confirm whether these were still active and the people were still wanted. To maintain the greatest degree of accuracy we have chosen to only include appeals shared since December 20, 2024, for both forces.
We have asked both forces to provide us with full lists but they have declined to do so. Gwent Police and Dyfed-Powys Police appeals featured here are up to date.
Below are the people highlighted by police forces as wanted in Wales at the time of writing (January 17). If you have seen any of the following people, or know of their whereabouts, you are asked to call police on 101 and quote the relevant reference number beneath the picture. Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for anonymous information on the whereabouts of Ian Probert who is wanted for allegedly causing serious injury by dangerous driving. According to the charity, who are working alongside Gwent Police in their search, on January 13, in the Malpas area of Newport, a woman and her dog were trapped under a car causing serious injuries. The driver then fled the scene. Gwent Police has also shared the same appeal on their Facebook page.

Gwent Police is appealing for information to locate 34-year-old Anthony Richards from Caerphilly who has been recalled to prison after allegedly breaching his licence conditions.

Alongside Crimestoppers Wales Gwent Police is looking for Anthony Manson. Crimestoppers Wales is offering a reward of up to £7,500 for information given anonymously that leads to his arrest and conviction. Manson, 66, is wanted by Gwent Police for a number of alleged offences including grievous bodily harm.
According to Crimestoppers Wales Manson has been on the run for more than a year and frequently changes his appearance and name, using aliases such as Tai, Ibrahim Mohammad, Ibrahim Vilafane, and Antonio Angel Villafane. He is considered a danger to women, the charity has said. The charity has also advised people to not approach Manson. Gwent Police is appealing for information to locate 31-year-old Sardi Hasani who has allegedly breached his licence conditions after being released from prison on Wednesday, May 15. He has now been recalled to prison. The force has said that Hasani has links to Swansea.

Gwent Police is appealing for information about the whereabouts of Christopher Drew, 31, who has allegedly breached his licence conditions and been recalled to prison. Drew has links to the Cwmbran, Pontypool, and Brecon areas, according to the police force.

Gwent Police is appealing for information to locate 35-year-old Leigh Elston from the Penpedairheol area. Elston has allegedly breached his licence conditions and has been recalled to prison. He received a prison sentence of five years and nine months for possession of drugs with intent to supply at Cardiff Crown Court in July 2020.

Gwent Police is re-appealing to locate Russell Turner, 29, who failed to return to HMP Prescoed. He was convicted of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, possessing criminal property, and assault of an emergency worker at Birmingham Crown Court in March 2020.
Turner is described as around 6ft tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms, hand, neck, and torso and a scar on his head. Members of the public are advised not to approach him.
Police say: “Turner has links to the West Midlands area, mainly Birmingham, and he is not a registered sex offender. It is believed there may be a potential risk as the individual is no longer in the custody of the prison service. We have activated our operational plan with the aim of locating the individual and the prison are co-operating fully with us.”

Officers carrying out an investigation into an alleged assault would like to speak to Dean Robbins who could assist their inquiries. Gwent Police is looking to speak to the 33-year-old in connection with the investigation. It is believed he has links to Alway, Newport.

Gwent Police is appealing for information to find Valter Hoxha from Newport. Hoxha, 40, is reported to have breached his licence conditions following his release from prison on April 18 and is now recalled to prison. He was sentenced to 13 months in prison after he was found guilty of being concerned in the production of cannabis and possession of criminal property.
