Three teenagers were arrested after bus passengers were attacked in Perry Barr. A group of boys was said to have attacked another group on a bus which stopped on Aldridge Road, near the One Stop Shopping Centre, shortly after 3pm yesterday,Tuesday, January 14.
Officers attended and found three people who had been hurt. Their injuries were not life-changing.
A 14-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and was later bailed with conditions. Two other boys aged 15 were also arrested in connection with the incident.

West Midlands Police said: “Three teenagers have been arrested after a number of people were attacked on a bus in Birmingham yesterday. We were called to Aldridge Road shortly after 3pm after disorder involving a group of boys and another group of people.
“Officers attended and found three people who had been injured, but their injuries were not life-changing injuries. A boy aged 14 was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder yesterday and has since been bailed with conditions.
“Two other boys, aged 15, were arrested today as the investigation continues. We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch with any information about the incident.”
