BBC Radio 2’s Vernon Kay shared a light-hearted worry with listeners that he might “get grief” from his wife Tess Daly over an amusing family revelation.
Chatting on air today (January 15), Vernon described the fortunate moment he and his daughter met acclaimed actor Timothee Chalamet.
Going for a comic angle, he disclosed: “He did me a favour last night did big Tim, having his picture taken with our Amber.”
Yet he also admitted: “Timothee might be Amber’s first crush”, which he fears might lead to a playful ticking-off from Tess for sharing this tidbit publicly: “I’ll get grief now from Tess now saying ‘you’ve really embarrassed her, saying that Timothee Chalamet is her first crush’.”

In other news involving Chalamet, the actor delivered a surprise at the ‘A Complete Unknown’ film premiere last night (January 14). The star untraditionally arrived on a rented bicycle for his red carpet appearance.
The 29-year-old heartthrob is set to portray the legendary musician Bob Dylan in the new biopic, whose release has been previously hindered by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Chalamet opened up about the project during an interview on the Graham Norton Show, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The actor shared: “I had a lot of time to practice because we were meant to make the film five-and-a-half years ago, then there was Covid and then there was the actors’ strike, so I have had years to prepare. I was confident about singing and by the time we got to do the film I wanted to sing and play the songs live.”
Before landing the iconic role of Bob Dylan, the star made his mark in 2014 with his big-screen debut as the son of Matthew McConaughey’s character in ‘Interstellar’.
His career trajectory continued to soar with lead performances in major films such as ‘Dune’, and he was even chosen to portray Willy Wonka in Paul King’s adaptation of the beloved children’s story.
Away from his on-screen performances, Timothee has also been the source of much celebrity gossip in recent months after it was confirmed that he has been dating Kylie Jenner for over a year.
