Victoria Beckham sends seven-word message to Nicola Peltz then admits ‘heartbreak’

Victoria Beckham sent a seven-word public message to her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz amid the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The Spice Girl admitted she was ‘truly heartbroken’ by the scenes as she said wildfires were destroying a place that was ‘special’ to her family.

The fashion designer took to Instagram to share a lengthy message about the fires, which have destroyed more than 1,000 homes and seen around 70,000 people evacuated. She said: “Seeing the devastation and loss caused by these wildfires is truly heartbreaking.

“Los Angeles holds such a special place in our family’s hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, especially those who have lost their homes or loved ones. We are immensely grateful to the brave firefighters and first responders who are risking their lives to protect others. Please stay safe and look after each other during this devastating time.”

He added a broken heart emoji to the snap, and later shared a post signposting people to where they could get resources for evacuation and assistance if they had pets.

The Mirror reports that prior to sending the message, Victoria had uploaded a post dedicated to Nicola Peltz, who is married to her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham. In the video, Victoria and Nicola could be dancing on a beach overlooking the sunset.

Victoria captioned the snap: “Happy birthday @nicolaannepeltzbeckham!!! Love you so much xxxx.” Nicola, who turned 30 today, married Brooklyn, 25, in 2022.
