Vogue Williams cringed after husband Spencer Matthews’ reaction to seeing former England footballer Gary Neville in a coffee shop recently.
The 39-year-old said her spouse, 36, tends to act in a certain way when he spots high-profile stars and admits: “It makes me die of embarrassment when he does it.”
Explaining his approach, she shared: “He has this thing, it’s almost like a twitch, when he sees a famous person.

“I can see him looking around, I can see him getting uncomfortable, I can see him like kind of going to the side and pretending not to look, but looking.”
Recalling their recent encounter with Gary on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue continued: “I spotted him first and then I was like [sigh].

“I was like, ah f**k, Spenny is going to be like… Spenny loves that show that he’s on, Dragons’ Den”
Vogue said she tried to discourage her husband’s behaviour by insisting: “Can you just not please? Can you just not? ! ” “I was like, ‘I know what you’re doing, I can see you switching around in your seat so that you’ll get a glance of him. Then he can say, ‘Oh hi mate’.”
“And I’m just like every time, just let him f*****g have his overpriced coffee in peace.”
It wasn’t the first instance that Spencer left Vogue feeling red-faced. In 2023, the mother of three expressed her embarrassment when Spencer approached Cillian Murphy at the BAFTAs, reports Dublin Live.
As a massive fan of the Peaky Blinders actor, Spencer confessed he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a photo with him. On their shared podcast, from which he recently stepped down, he informed listeners: “I was like ‘Good luck tonight’, and he was like ‘Thank you’.”
“And of course Vogue didn’t take a picture because she was too busy laughing,” he added.
