As the New Year rolls in, it’s time for resolutions to kick into high gear.
For those aiming to get their fitness back on track, a “sustainable” weight loss coach has taken to TikTok to share her secrets for shedding those extra festive pounds.
Kirsty Lewis, with an impressive following of over 128,300 on the platform, divulged details of her 12-week plan which she tested herself. In a recent video, she explained to followers she’s embarking on a fat loss phase but allowed herself a break over Christmas to “enjoy the food and memories”.
She recounted: “Today I got back on my training panel, headed out for a 5k run and much to my disappointment, the Christmas food did not give me the turbo boost that I needed, but I still got it done.”
The coach also mentioned feeling “super bloated and super uncomfortable” and noted a 2kg increase on the scale, but reassured viewers it wasn’t fat gain, attributing it to eating more, sleeping and moving less, and likely retaining more water.
Outlining her “plan of attack”, Kirsty shared her intention to meticulously plan her meals and workouts for the week, clarifying: “I’m not drastically cutting out my calories, I’m just going back to normal and I want you to do the same.
“My biggest piece of advice for anyone starting their own fat loss journey this New Year is to approach it sustainably, forget about the all another mindset and follow me because I’m gonna share my fat loss journey daily and we could do it together.
“And if you need any extra accountability and you’re ready to make a commitment to yourself then I have coaching spots available for January.” Since sharing her valuable tips, her post has received 1,500 likes. One follower commented: “Yessss Kirsty go.”
